Henderson People Management Services will be delivering a workshop at the Universities Human Resources Conference on Wednesday 15 May 2013.

The workshop session, entitled The HR Triathlon - 3 Ways of Keeping the HR Team Motivated, is aimed at HR Directors, Deputy HR Directors and staff in a role involving the management or leadership of a team within an HR Department, and is broken down into three elements which will include interactive sessions looking at how to maintain motivation and engagement of HR Teams.
The three areas covered will be entitled:

  • Swimming against the tide –an activity designed to look at how HR teams can remain resilient, positive and robust in situations where their decisions/ advice may be challenged, questioned and/or overruled by senior managers.
  • Pedalling up hill – an activity to encourage determination and perseverance in HR teams to continue to drive through programmes or initiatives within their institutions.
  • (Stop) Running around in circles – an activity that will allow HR colleagues to stop and take stock of what they are contributing and how they can work together within the HR team with an enhanced sense of shared purpose.

The workshop will be delivered by Neil Henderson - once in the morning (11:30 - 12:30) and once in the afternoon (13:30 - 14:30). So if you are a signed up delegate trying to decide which session to attend, why not give this one a go...
